Welcome

Welcome to the C.T.P. official web site!

We are a band of merry players, mostly ignorant of this fair art, picking a topic and running with it. We have an eclectic skill base, but mostly we all just love the idea of snatching some spot light, bringing a laugh and warm fuzzies to our audience, and having some over-tired, under-paid, and, god willing, rougish rovin' fun! Come join us!

Check back to the site for updates on our progress!

Recent News & Updates:

We're Back! Casting Available!!! - NEW SCRIPT Uploaded Saturday, April 30, 2011.

Next Play Practice: June 5th!

We'll be practicing for the first hour of fighter practice (1pm-2pm). For you fighters, this means there is still plenty of time to go beat on each other and participate.

Its only an hour. We'll meet, greet, and read through till we're all comfortable. Memorize your parts as you can. We'll discuss costume design, set building, logistics, and whatever else we need.

NEW SCIPTS!!!: Will be available May 1st at the first CTP practice of the year. Download them yourselves for the most up to date version of the revised script.

Come Play!

Practice, Practice, Practice!
Absences may result in part loss or being bumped to understudy.
Please notify us in advance if you cannot make it. Practice dates subject to change with little notice.

New meeting Place

As popularly requested, Play Practice begins at Fighter Practice this year.

April 10th ~ 12 pm until 1 pm
Riverside Park, Jacksonville, FL

Latest Meeting Notes

Great Meeting Everyone! Players came to Gunnar's and did a reading of the play to familurize themselves with new players. Went wonderfully.

Special thanks to Bryndis for opening her home at the last minute. You rock!

More: If you'd been there, you would know. Since you missed the practice, suffer in suspense until I feel like doing your homework for you. Honestly, people think things like hospitalization, family obligation, and personal injury are valid excuses for ditching rehearsals. What's next? We gonna start arbitrarily allowing restroom breaks between acts? Drink less beer... Grow stronger... mwahahaha..." ~ Ambra
