From The Event Steward ~ Lady Egelina Pounhale
Okay, I am now going to do my best and know I will miss a person or two.
First and foremost I must thank my sweet husband who doesn't play with us but had my back last week. Take out was the order of most meals and he didn't complain. He also helped me load things as I got my part of things ready to go.
Thank you, le Drake, for being a wonderful co-crat! Onward to C&C where I am happy to be on staff.
To their Royal Highness', thank you for your patience in answering questions and coaching me in unknown territory! This was a true learning experience. (Also, you both were most gracious participants in the gift game.)
List:
Master Iefan: teaching me protocol
Baroness Cara: my shoulder to lean on and a listening ear when I got nervous.
Lord Theo: whispering in my ear to keep me calm.
Lilias McLeod: taking time to make tokens and took over tasks when I had 3 or more places I needed to be. Thank you, m'lady! You represented Sudrholt well.
Devlin McLeod, Eadric de Bedford, Ann and Violet McLeod: These young people took on tasks at the gift table and volunteered to be runners for the gift exchange. Every time I turned around these young people asked if I needed them somewhere.
Vivien for volunteering to be a runner.
Libby for being a runner.
Temperence Kerna: Another pair of hands in the kitchen solving a problem.
Godfrey: Moving the world and filling in til others could take on their assignments.
Stanbery Ingram, Gibson, Mark Stanbery: I recognize faces but not names. I know at least one of these was one of my youth runners.
Marianna L'Vencenzia: As always at my back with a smile on her face. Many hands do make light work.
Iain & Tamara: Thanks for the trivia questions and the gifts of honey. Iain for being my greeter.
Clean up crew: Don Cullen, Tomo Cato, Gormlaith and friend, Fasti, and anyone else who helped put away chairs or swept.
The ladies who sat with me and the younger ones who brought all my things from the kitchen so I could pack up and stay seated doing it.
Thank you to all from Castlemere and Sudrholt who came to work and play with me! I had a great night!
Also, thank you to those from High Table who tiptoed into the kitchen and washed dishes while my back was turned! Your gift was appreciated!
If I have forgotten anyone, feel free to email me! YIS, to Castlemere and the Dream,
