Trimaris Duke University is STILL A FREE EVENT!

Okay, the county park charges an entry fee of $2 per vehicle and if you want to buy lunch it'll run you $3.50, but still...

Classes in the morning, war practices in the afternoon, and plenty of experienced fighters present to track down for concerns or questions about any aspect of SCA fighting. If they can't answer your questions, they'll point you to someone who can. Come Authorize in new combat forms or try your hand in a spear class, whatever you fancy. We're here to help our soldiers prepare for single combat, melee, and WAR!!

Do You Have to be a Duke to Attend?

No! Many a noble knight will devote his day to teaching any and all who are present.

Looking to break a plateau in your fighting? Hoping to learn that new trick shot Sir Bob's been sporting (good luck with that one...)? Just looking for a day of good fighting? Don't have a local knight and are thirsty for the vitae o' knowledge?

Then make you way to Trimaris Duke University, November 6, 2010. See you there!

Food and Hydration

There will be a Comfort Station with water and Gatorade to keep the fighters in good spirits. The cooler weather will also aid us in getting the most out of the day.

A Lunch Feast will be provided for a humble cost of $3.50 for any who would like to partake. While it is not a requirement, if you can send an RSVP to the Dean, Bryndis Fasthalda, it would be appreciated to ensure we have more than enough food for everyone. You are welcome to bring your own lunch as you like of course; Lunch Feast is simply a convenience we offer to the attendees desiring to purchase it.

Feast Includes: Meatball subs, chips and cookies.
