Youth Combat Marshal
The Youth Combat Marshal's office is responsible for overseeing the combat related
activities in the Shire for our youth between the age of 6 and 17 years of age - both male
and female. Participation in youth combat requires compliance with special armor and
weapons standards, as well as the presence of the parent or legal guardian during all
tournaments and scenarios in which the youth participates.

The Castlemere Youth Combat Marshal will be happy to answer any questions
you have about the SCA Youth Combat.
In order to participate in youth combat, a parent or legal (Court Appointed) guardian
must be present at all times.
In addition the parent must be willing to sign a waiver of liability. Waivers will be
available at practice.
If you need loaner armor, you must contact me ahead of time to let me know what pieces you
need and in what sizes.
You must provide your own athletic 'cup'. Closed toes shoes should be worn, along with
long pants and a comfortable shirt.
